INHOUSE REGISTRATION COMPETITION DECEMBER 2008

  1. Information on how to enter and the prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions of entry.
  2. Entry is open to residents of Australia. Employees of Sydney Opera House and their immediate families, associated agencies of this promotion and companies associated with this promotion are not eligible to enter the promotion.
  3. Existing Sydney Opera House e-Newsletter (Inhouse) subscribers are not eligible to enter.
  4. To enter, the participants must register for Inhouse between Thursday 4th and 31st December 2008.
  5. The prizes are not redeemable for cash or transferable to any other person.
  6. Competition commencement date is Thursday 4th December 2008. Entries close Wednesday 31st December 2008.
  7. The CRM Marketing Specialist at Sydney Opera House will draw the winner on Monday 5th January 2009 at 4pm (EST). The draw will take place at Level 3, Customs House, Alfred Street Circular Quay, NSW, Australia. The winner will be notified by e-mail or telephone and published on the Sydney Opera House website by Friday 9th January 2009.
  8. The first valid entry drawn will win a 12 Month VIP pass which entitles the winner to the following every month in 2009:
    Tickets (x2) to a performance at Sydney Opera House (Total value on tickets for the year must not exceed $2,400)
    Free parking (Total value of parking for the year must not exceed $420)
    Interval drinks (Total value of interval drinks for the year must not exceed $240)
    Total Prize valued at $AUD3,060. Any change in the value of the prize occurring between the publishing of these Conditions and the date the prize is claimed not the responsibility of the promoters.
  9. Prize will be sent via standard post or if the performance is within 10 days, tickets will be held for collection at the Box Office under the winner’s name.
  10. Data will be collected automatically from all Inhouse registration between nominated dates and will be retrieved by the Online Marketing Coordinator, of Sydney Opera House, from the ticketing database.
  11. At the conclusion of the competition date all data collated from successful entries into the competition will be placed in one barrel and one entry will be pulled out. The person drawn will win the prize listed in point 7.
  12. The promoter’s decision in relation to any aspects of the competition is final and binding on every person who enters and no correspondence will be entered into.
  13. The promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with any other prize/s except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
  14. The Promoter and their associated agencies, and companies associated with this promotion will take no responsibility for prizes damaged or lost in transit.
  15. In the event that for any reason whatsoever a winner does not take an element of the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of that element of the Prize.
  16. If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process.
  17. In the case of the intervention of any outside agent or event which naturally changes the result or prevents or hinders its determination, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strikes; the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the event and recommence it from the start on the same conditions subject to State Regulation.

CHRISTMAS 2008 COMPETITION (WHAT'S ON DECEMBER)

  1. Information on how to enter and the prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions of entry.
  2. Entry is open to residents of Australia. Employees of Sydney Opera House and their immediate families, associated agencies of this promotion and companies associated with this promotion are not eligible to enter the promotion.
  3. To enter, the participants must make a purchase equal to $50AUS or over for any performance ticket or High Tea between 17 November and 17 December, 2008.
  4. The prizes are not redeemable for cash or transferable to any other person.
  5. Competition commencement date is Monday 17 November 2008. Entries close 5pm, Wednesday 17 December 2008.
  6. The Marketing Specialist at Sydney Opera House will draw the winner on Thursday 18 December at 5pm (EST). The draw will take place at Level 3, Customs House, Alfred Street Circular Quay, NSW, Australia. The winner will be notified by telephone and published on the Sydney Opera House website by Friday 19 December.
  7. The first valid entry drawn will win:
    Dinner Voucher to the value of $250AUD valid for Café Sydney, Customs House
    - Hungerford Hill Double Wine pack
    - Family Pass^ to Le Grand Cirque for Monday 5 January 2008, 7pm.
    - Le Grand Cirque memorabilia (show poster)
    ^Family Pass includes 2 Adults / 2 Children or 1 Adult / 3 Children. Children must be under the age of 18.
  8. The second valid entry drawn will win:
    - Double pass to Le Grand Cirque for Monday 5 January 2008, 7pm
    - Dinner Voucher to the value of $150AUD valid for Opera Bar, Bennelong Point.
    - Designer home ware piece from Sydney Opera House Shop.
  9. Total Prize pool valued at $995AUD. Any change in the value of the prize occurring between the publishing of these Conditions and the date the prize is claimed not the responsibility of the promoters.
  10. Collection/distribution of the prize will be arranged by the Marketing Specialist Sydney Opera House on Friday 19 December and will be delivered by freight.
  11. Data will be collected automatically from all sales for performances and High Tea purchases between nominated dates and will be retrieved by the CRM specialist, of Sydney Opera House, from the ticketing database.
  12. At the conclusion of the competition date all data collated from successful entries into the competition will be placed in one barrel and two entries will be pulled out. The first person drawn will win the prize listed in point 7. The second person drawn will win the prize listed at point 8.
  13. The promoter’s decision in relation to any aspects of the competition is final and binding on every person who enters and no correspondence will be entered into.

David Hobson in Concert Competition

  1. Information on how to enter and the prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions of entry.
  2. Entry is open to residents of Australia. Employees of Sydney Opera House and their immediate families, associated agencies of this promotion and companies associated with this promotion are not eligible to enter the promotion.
  3. To enter, the participants must purchase tickets for David Hobson in Concert between 27 October and 7 November, 2008.
  4. The prizes are not redeemable for cash or transferable to any other person.
  5. Competition commencement date is 27 October 2008. Entries close midnight Friday 7 November, 2008.
  6. The Marketing Coordinator at Sydney Opera House will draw the winner on Monday 10 November 2008 at 10.00am (EST). The draw will take place at Level 3, Customs House, Alfred Street Circular Quay, NSW, Australia. The winner will be notified by e-mail or telephone and published on the Sydney Opera House website by 4pm on Fri 14 November 2008.
  7. One valid entry, drawn at random will win one nights accommodation at the Four Seasons Hotel, dinner at Guillaume at Bennelong and a signed CD A Little Closer. If the customer has purchased tickets to the Friday 21 November 8pm performance, the accommodation and dinner will be valid for that date. If the customer has bought tickets for the Sunday 23 November 1pm performance, the accommodation and dinner will be valid for Saturday 22 November (the evening prior). The prize pack is valued at approx $650. Any change in the value of the prize occurring between the publishing of these Conditions and the date the prize is claimed not the responsibility of the promoters.
  8. Collection/distribution of the prize will be arranged with the winner.
  9. Other associated travel expenses are the responsibility of the prize winner.

What’s On November – WIN  A LE GRAND CIRQUE FAMILY PASS

  2. Entry is open to residents of Australia. Employees of Sydney Opera House and their immediate families, associated agencies of this promotion and companies associated with this promotion are not eligible to enter the promotion.
  3. To enter, the participants must send their answers to the question that appears on the back of What’s On November (“What’s the name of the new Le Grand Cirque show?”) by email to whatson@sydneyoperahouse.com by 5pm Monday 24 November 2008.
  4. The prizes are not redeemable for cash or transferable.
  5. Competition commencement date is Wednesday 22 October. Entries close 5pm Monday 24 November 2008.
  6. The Corporate Marketing Manager at Sydney Opera House will draw the winner on Tuesday 25 November 2008 at 12:00pm (EST). The draw will take place at Level 3, Customs House, Alfred Street Circular Quay, NSW, Australia. The winner will be notified by e-mail or telephone and published on the Sydney Opera House website by 4pm on Friday 28 November 2008.
  7. The first valid entry drawn will win a family pass to Le Grand Cirque Aerial Dreams, Wednesday 7 January 2009, 7pm). A family pass comprises of either 2 Adult and 2 Children or 1 Adult and 3 Children. Any change in the value of the prize occurring between the publishing of these Conditions and the date the prize is claimed not the responsibility of the promoters.
  8. Delivery of the prize will be via post.
